With all of the changes going on in the world, you’re probably making resolutions to get active and healthy. And as a pet owner, you have a responsibility to also keep your pet fit and active, too.

Start Small With Dog Walks
Small steps can really add up…literally! Take the time to walk your dog another block or two around the neighborhood, or for a few extra minutes when you take them outside to the bathroom. Even a few extra minutes of walking each day will add up throughout the week to keep you and your pet outdoors and more active.
Sure, your dog will get a little more exercise than you, but playing fetch is a great pastime your pup will love. Hit up your local dog park or a nearby fenced in area with a few tennis balls or a Frisbee and have fun; your dog is sure to enjoy this type of exercise!
Take a Hike
Hiking is a great way to get exercise and explore a new area! Find a local dog friendly trail, harness up your pup and get moving. Just remember to pack plenty of water and protein packed snacks (for both you and your pet) to ensure everyone stays happy during your hike!
