It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! And so are we! Lucy and Holly are dancing and prancing underneath the mistletoe, enjoying the hustle and bustle of the holiday season that includes festive parties and special pet events, as well as photos with Santa Paws and holiday-themed cookies, treats and elegant holiday attire. The GirlZ also love snooping and sniffing the beautifully wrapped presents beneath our Christmas tree and checking out their fancy stockings. Do your pets have their own Christmas stockings; what goodies are stuffed inside? Most American households with pets buy their pets gifts and stockings, and even include them in family holiday celebrations.
There are many different types of holiday stockings. Some are made from elaborate fabrics, some are photo stockings that hold a picture of your pet, and some stockings are personalized with each pet’s name. Stockings are filled with toys, treats, gift cards to pet stores and boutiques, collars, leashes and (the always needed) poop bags with Christmas trees and snowmen printed on them! The GirlZ are again donating their December allowances to a local animal rescue group. One of our favorite family holiday traditions is donating to help animals in need.
